City of Hope is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of people with cancer, diabetes and other serious illnesses. Their mission is to transform the future of health care by turning science into a practical benefit, hope into reality. We accomplish this by providing outstanding care, conducting innovative research and offering vital education programs focused on eliminating these diseases.
The City of Hope community includes research associates, scientists, doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, graduate students, fundraising specialists, marketing professionals, volunteers and an extensive support staff. They are united by our desire to find cures, save lives and transform the future of health. Every discovery we make and every new treatment we create gives people the chance to live longer, better and more fully.
In 2019, the Tower60 Foundation successfully raised $50,000 during the month of October during Paint it Pink month. 100% of the proceeds were donated to our friends at the City of Hope. This year our goal is to double that amount.
Founded in 1983 by concerned parents and community leaders of the South Bay, the El Segundo Education Foundation (Ed!) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) Tax Id: 95-3885992, with the sole mission to provide financial support for the El Segundo Unified School District (ESUSD). As state funding continues to be inadequate to sustain our schools today, Ed!’s annual grant helps bridge that financial gap.
Ed! is the only independent organization that can assist ESUSD’s budget shortfalls due to the annualized grant.
For a decade, the Tower60 Foundation has successfully raised $100,000 for the students of El Segundo. 100% of the proceeds were donated to our friends at ED!
